091 - GRUMPY SESSIONS

Hello, My name (snuffle snuffle) is Grumpy Sessions and I am here to introduce episode 91 of CheapShow to you. Eli and Paul graciously asked me to write the blurb for this episode and i am more than happy to do so (snuffle snuffle). So what can you expect? Well, Paul was mean to me, so i don't want anything to do with him, but Eli was very nice and has a very interesting collection of vinyl records that i enjoyed listening to (snuffle snuffle).

The boys also revisit YouTube sensation "Weird Paul" and discover what he has recently found in thrift stores, much to their jealousy, and i believe they read more of your letters too. Isn't that nice (snuffle snuffle)?

I have to go now, but i hope to see you all again in the future... If Paul drops the attitude!

086 - PICKLE LOLLY

It's a scorcher of an episode in more ways than one! The heat is getting to Paul & Eli and tempers are rising... who will snap first? Who will lash out? Who will say something they regret?

Episode 86 is packed with quality content. Oh boy howdy, is it! We have another food package sent to the House of Pickles, stuffed with American cheap eats. One particular snack has quite the shock in store! Eli is forced to take a drugs test by Paul and leads to a sober, but utterly obvious outcome. There is also time to talk about cheap vinyl record players, in some reasonable depth actually, and see if it's worth spending your pennies on those platters! It's a nice long trip to CheapShowVille and you are invited to tolerate the whole journey...

070 - ABBOTT & EDMONDS' MADCAP MUSIC TIME

We promise, we will never talk about Russ Abbott's singing career again. Mostly because we have run out of stuff to criticise! In Episode 70 we take one last dip into the world of cheesy light entertainment music and discover a long long Abbott "classic". We also find something MUCH worse. A rare vinyl single. Introduced by "rumoured human" Noel (Tidy Beard) Edmonds. It's not good. Elsewhere in everyone's favourite economy comedy podcast, Paul & Eli argue over more Tales from the Dancefloor, Paul sounds like he is giving up and Eli decides to do something filthy to make things worse! It's not all grime, as Eli takes us once more into his Country Noodle Kitchen and rates, tastes and reviews some "cup noodles" from a range of leading, and not so leading, brands. Will Paul join in? Or will he just decide to do a pretty poor impression of Eli doing his old stand up routine? We think you already know the answer to that one!

047 - PAUL GANNON'S FROTHSHOP

Important Note: In this episode we accidentally give out some actual proper advice! We apologise wholeheartedly and promise never to knowingly do it again!

With that out of the way, why not enjoy another hour of cheap tat, cheap tunes and cheap laughs. In this episode, Eli rummages through more of his weird and wonderful vinyl... Paul tries and fails to create a new exciting feature for Cinefiles... Gannon also looks into a collection of off brand candy AS WELL as knockoff BeanBoozled jelly beans called Double Dares! One particular flavour will send shock waves through one of the hosts, but who will it be and what flavour? Finally, Paul & Eli discover two annoying new sounds that aim to show their smug appreciation of a thought! Welcome to the FrothShop!

035 - LIVE FROM THE HOUSE OF PICKLES 01

Welcome to the House of Pickles! Paul and Eli introduce a new series of "mini episodes" to help tide you over until you get the full fat editions. The cheap chaps talk about anything and everything, not necessarily based on their usual themes.

In this first HoP, Paul & Eli are inspired by the legend of "Action Park" to talk about what a theme park based on their lives would be like, Paul talks about his varied accidents as a child and Eli is excited to find a vinyl record featuring a singing dragon.

034 - MR BISCUITS

Who is Mr Biscuits and how could he help you save money? Frankly, no one really knows, especially Paul & Eli in yet another ruddy fun CheapShow.

In episode 34 CheapShow tackles bad accents. Again. There is another frustratingly familiar "Tales from the Dancefloor" story, Eli excitedly takes on an all new type of Noodle flavour, Gannon's Google Assistant confuses Paul Daniels for Vladimir Putin, the boys eats rancid chilli chocolate and, AT LAST, Eli brings in a selection of weird and wonderful vinyl singles, discovered in some of London's best charity shops. Be warned: One is straight up creepy.

028 - THE GROTTY LIFE OF JOHN MEGGOT

We're Back!

After a brief hiatus, Paul & Eli are back for more cheap tips, cheap tat and cheap laughs.

The economy comedy podcast has returned and its bigger and better than ever... actually, its exactly the same.

In this particularly grotty episode, Eli advises, not only where to buy and find weird and wonderful vinyl, but also how to get rid of a fat bloated corpse.

We catch up with what the chaps have been up to during their time off (Paul: Lots, Eli: Nothing).

We get into some old school Price of Shite goodness and we cap the show off with a "Dollop-esque" investigation of Britain's most horrible, dirty old man: John Meggot/Elwes Ahh, Cheapshow. Trashy as ever!

We would like to once again thank Page Branson for our awesome new logo and Brian Wecht for the trippy & fantastic new theme music. Give them your love @bwecht @page_branson

003 - BEC HILL GETS BEANBOOZLED

CheapShow Episode 3 is another instalment of the bargain basement podcast that celebrates the very best of the worst.

In this episode...

Eli calls Paul a down on his luck IT salesman and Paul calls Eli an inside out Danny DeVito.

Eli thinks he has the ultimate solution for all these leaked nude pictures.

Paul and Ash Frith give us dire warnings about our own phone misadventures.

The boys answer the age old question, "What is worse - Incessant uncontrollable orgasms, or over sized testicles?"

Very special guest Bec Hill gets put through the wringer thanks to a very peculiar set of inappropriate questions from Eli.

Eli picks probably one of the very worst singles ever for his vinyl selection and one that ends quickly... but not quickly enough.

The boys introduce a new segment called the Price of Shite - which is like a charity shop version of Antiques Roadshow... but that quickly goes off the rails and eventually leads to Ash and Bed creating - mid show - their own spin off show where the hosts are lovely and nice to each other! Can you imagine that?!

Eli has a brief Pop Up Pirate makeover.

Eli and Paul are charged with creating an advert for Camden Town, which doesn't go well and leads to a hilarious and yet shocking confession from Bec!

The highlight of the show is the "Jelly Belly BeanBoozled Challenge" where Paul, Eli and the rest of the packed Camden crowd take on a jelly bean eating competition where no one knows what nice or nasty flavour they are putting in their mouths... but quickly learn to regret it. However it's Eli who takes the brunt of the misery.

Finally, Eli throws his weight around on the topic of Fizzy Drinks. He may be wrong, but he doesn't really care!

Dare you listen? Should you listen? We'd like you to listen! So listen!
