022 - DON'T GET MAD

They say you should never go back... They say never try to repeat yourself... They say never look back... They didn't listen.

In this episode of CheapShow, Paul and Eli crack open the "Don't Get Mad" anger management role play game and try to calmly resolve a load of fictional stressful circumstances. It gets dark pretty quick!

Before you get to that nightmare of a finale, the cheap chaps look into the weird ways businesses save money, pathetically try to craft font based gags and are sent a bunch of American Junk Food that they may like a little TOO much! All this and much much less on the economy comedy podcast you deserve!

(With thanks to Allison Guinn and Jenny Silverman for the donations this episode)

021 - THE BERENSTAIN BEARS CONSPIRACY

Welcome to CheapShow!

Well... What should've been a short and sweet little feature on just how much your old 80s & 90s toys could be worth quickly turns into a messy tangential omni-shambles.

Eli and Paul end up talking less about the toys and more about which rock bands became crappy ballad merchants, cheesy crisps and whether we are all living in a alternate dimension simply because people can't figure out if some bears are called Berenstain or Berenstein! It's a nightmare! But don't worry, the CheapShow chaps also play a round of "The Price of Shite" & regale us all with another "Tales from the Dancefloor".

It's another episode of the random pop culture economy comedy podcast!

020 - THE PLAY YOUR BLANKETY CARDS RIGHT GAME SHOW

Paul & Eli bring their love of Game Shows and Light Entertainment to it's natural conclusion in this very special nostalgic battle royale. There can be only one winner and losing any rounds will carry horrific consequences!

In our 20th episode spectacular the CheapShow Chaps take on 3 of UK TV's most popular 80's Game Shows. They try to read each other's minds playing Blankety Blank, guess what 100 people thought in Play Your Cards Right and use their bargain hunting skills in a few rounds of The Price of Right. To the winner, the spoils. To the loser, its a gamble on the infamous Jelly Belly Beanboozled candy. A fate worse than death!

There is also time for some more Cheap Eats from the USA and a few "commercial breaks" too!

The Economy Comedy Podcast goes all out on giving you a blast from the past!

019 - MR BLOBBY VS AMERICA

It's the return of the CheapShow Chaps with more opinions on the cheap and cheerful as well as the budget and brilliant!

This week, Eli and Paul talk about all things America as Eli has just returned from a trip to the good old U S of A!

Eli and Paul tackle Trump, come up with a piss poor revolutionary uprising strategy and look into the murky world of countrfeit dollar bills!

The Cheap Eats selection is taken from some of the finest gas stations, drug stores and Dollar Trees America has to offer. Paul is NOT impressed.

Ash Frith gives us a little insight into the Hollywood MockBuster explosion, covering everything from Transmorphers to RoboPoliceMan.

Finally, we end on the tragic tale of Mr Blobby, his awful music, his American renaissance and go down the "Awful Novelty Hit Single" rabbit hole... You have been warned!

018 - READ-A-ALONG EASTER

Easter treats abound in episode 18 of the economy comedy podcast!

Paul & Eli tackle Easter in the only way they know how - poorly. They talk Easter memories and discover Paul's love of Read-A-Along Adventure books, via Ghostbusters and a kinda racist Rambo! The chaps discover a YouTube video that helpfully explains the story of Easter, and they tear it to pieces and sing along with Christ music. Ash Frith reports in with weird and wonderful movie "Easter Eggs", Paul and Eli taste test some cheap chocolate treats, paint cock and balls on a clay egg and Eli's TOP THREE returns and is as shouty as it ever was!

017 - BATMAN'S ANGER MANAGEMENT

Stand back Superman, Iceman, Spider-Man. Batman and Robin too... It's another CheapShow podcast with Paul Gannon & Eil Silverman!

This week, the chaps discover the story of a fan made Batcave made on a budget of £100... And then fall down a superhero rabbit hole and Eli makes a rude confession! Ash Frith talks video game conspiracy theories and in Cheap Eat, Eli and Paul stick a load more weird food in their gobs. Will the Jellyman defeat them? The Price of Shite contains egg shapers, comedian Top Trumps and some more added video game Batman where it all gets a little 8-Bit. Finally, Eli decides to role play a few anger management scenarios with Paul... It does NOT go well.

016 - 80s FLASHBACK

We're going back, unintentionally, to the 1980s!

In this episode of the economy comedy podcast, Paul Gannon and Eli Silverman tackle the charm of living on the cheap...

They finally get around to talking about their new year's celebrations... One's that involve feeling very old and diving out the way of rogue fireworks

The lads search Ebay for the weirdest online bargains - Everything from male chastity belts to vintage Playboy magazine... and discover how they use food during sexy times.

Ash Frith returns to carry on talking about who bequeathed what to whom.

In our regular game "The Price of Shite", its all gets very 80s when Eli pulls out his cassette decks and mix tapes

And finally, in the ultimate act of UK 80's nostalgia, Paul and Eli battle to the death... on a boardgame based on 80s TV hit "Bullseye".

Who will win? Do you really care? Find out in the latest "CheapShow"

015 - THE STAR WARS CYNICAL TIE IN SPECIAL

In our 15th episode, we belated jump on the Star Wars bandwagon by talking about the cheap B Movie rip offs, taste a selection of barely edible Star Wars candy, talk to Ash Frith about who Shakespeare bequeathed his 2nd best bed to, and play one of our weirder editions of the Price of Shite! Along the way we discover Eli auditioned for Stomp with Jar Jar Binks, hear Paul take on the character of a wiggly worm and try to offend their listeners in order to get a response!

Paul discovers a good way to save money is to invest in a "Family Cloth" for the toilet.

The boys go off on a sex toy tangent...

...and Paul then has to explain what a Dominator is to his mother, who is in the audience... and likes to get involved!

And we all learn far too much as a result!

010 - CHRIS MAYO & THE BACK DOOR MAMA

Special Guest: Chris Mayo

In our 10th episode...

Ash Frith finds the most profitable item in all of pop culture history... The Manimal Annual, he also gives a very convincing financial argument for inviting prostitutes to your big Wedding day!

Eli denies he found ALL his charity shop treasure from the same drunken Hippy, he painfully attempts to try and audition from a play about mental health and finds the world's scariest snowglobe.

Paul falls in love with a mug shaped like a chocolate bar, adds a few more "Gannonisms" to the pile and makes everyone attempt the "Ketchup Challenge" with nothing but a bag of cold fries!

Our special guest, comedian and actor, Chris Mayo has to put up with all of it... He deserves a medal!

So listen, enjoy, download, subscribe to "CheapShow".

008 - WET HOT LATITUDE SUMMER (FESTIVE SPECIAL)

The Boys Return to Latitude!

In episode 8 of CheapShow, Eli and Paul reminisce about their recent adventure at Latitude Festival and play clips from their time there with the hope to remember just what exactly happened.

They argue over who forgot to bring the right props, the quality of food served at the festivals, the price of said food, the incredible heat, climbing trees when drunk, losing mobile phones, being inches away from dangling penises, the state of festival toilets, carefully constructing sentences, the marvels of technology, wi-fi hostspots and much much less...

It bears mentioning that NOT ONCE do they talk about the cultural aspects of one of the UK's greatest music and arts festivals. It was THAT kind of festival.

Paul and Eli would like to thank the following people for helping make their Latitude Festival experience so (barely) memorable: Mark Allen, Gavin Osbourne, Sarah Bennetto, The Story Beast, Richard Sandling, Matt Highton, Starbomb and Latitude Festival itself!

So listen, enjoy, download, subscribe to "CheapShow".

007 - JUSTIN PANKS' WINKING DOG'S EYE

In episode 7 on the good ship CheapShow, the boys go back to basics with a lean, mean, keen show.

Paul tries to get the interest in local businesses for sponsorship and can only find Carl's Burger and Jason's Doner-Van.

Eli explains once again about how special his education was and how wasted on him it was.

Justin Panks is made to choose between a milky nightmare and a Freudian one!

The Price of Shite takes in 3 items of unusual quality - a book, a decision maker and a dodgy copy of 1970s comedians.

And in Cheap Eats, the boys go back to the Japanese well to look at a selection of fishy food and green tea candy made by a seemingly universally hated confectionary company.

Once again, it seems what started as a simple show soon devolves into the usual collection of slurs and empty threats!

"That's CheapShow!"

006 - EGGSY'S TRICK OR TREAT

Special Guests: Eggsy (from Goldie Lookin Chain)and Ash Frith.

It's another joyous, anarchic podcast celebrating the very best of the very worst!

004 - STUART ASHENS EATS SPONCH

With Special Guest: Ashens!

It was destined to be. CheapShow vs. Ashens!

In our fabulous 4th episode, Paul and Eli put their guest through the following trails...

Paul decides to update board games to make them edgier.

Eli tells a tall tale about his sudden interest in Marine biology... and time travel.

Ashen is put through yet another bloody awful interview, tackling such topics as darkest thoughts, taxidermy ducks and dirty old hot dogs.

Paul plays a game with Eli and Ashens that involves the world's deadliest toys.

Find out what E.T's finger and a Dora the Explorer Aqua Pet have in common.

Ashens and Paul find out a bit too much about Eli's hatred of the song "Old MacDonald Has A Farm".

Ashens turns the tables and forces Eli and Paul to taste his own choice of terrible Candy.

Eli brings "Sponch" into the world.

Find out who is "A Poet of The Stupid".

And finally bear witness to another of Eli's apocalyptic Top 3 discussions. This week, we tackle TOP 3 TOYS!

...and find out why, as a child, Paul's fingers smelled like they have been stuck up his bum...

003 - BEC HILL GETS BEANBOOZLED

CheapShow Episode 3 is another instalment of the bargain basement podcast that celebrates the very best of the worst.

In this episode...

Eli calls Paul a down on his luck IT salesman and Paul calls Eli an inside out Danny DeVito.

Eli thinks he has the ultimate solution for all these leaked nude pictures.

Paul and Ash Frith give us dire warnings about our own phone misadventures.

The boys answer the age old question, "What is worse - Incessant uncontrollable orgasms, or over sized testicles?"

Very special guest Bec Hill gets put through the wringer thanks to a very peculiar set of inappropriate questions from Eli.

Eli picks probably one of the very worst singles ever for his vinyl selection and one that ends quickly... but not quickly enough.

The boys introduce a new segment called the Price of Shite - which is like a charity shop version of Antiques Roadshow... but that quickly goes off the rails and eventually leads to Ash and Bed creating - mid show - their own spin off show where the hosts are lovely and nice to each other! Can you imagine that?!

Eli has a brief Pop Up Pirate makeover.

Eli and Paul are charged with creating an advert for Camden Town, which doesn't go well and leads to a hilarious and yet shocking confession from Bec!

The highlight of the show is the "Jelly Belly BeanBoozled Challenge" where Paul, Eli and the rest of the packed Camden crowd take on a jelly bean eating competition where no one knows what nice or nasty flavour they are putting in their mouths... but quickly learn to regret it. However it's Eli who takes the brunt of the misery.

Finally, Eli throws his weight around on the topic of Fizzy Drinks. He may be wrong, but he doesn't really care!

Dare you listen? Should you listen? We'd like you to listen! So listen!
